Deb Sokolow

on urban to and from and the feeling of in-between:

it seems as though much of my time these days is spent in the in-between. i am often in transit, traveling from one known spot to another, and i find myself in the in-between, often feeling a bit disconnected. in the context of a large city, the in-between seems to take forever and it almost always involves large buildings and unknown individuals. and my identity in relation to other elements in the in-between? to the strangers, i am a stranger. to the structures, I am an ant.
